Jos, Plateau State November 24, 2025_ – The Christian community in Plateau State is gearing up for what organisers describe as one of the most significant evangelical events in recent years. Take The Nations (TTN), in partnership with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Plateau State Chapter, officially announced the Jos Jesus Crusade, scheduled for December 17‑21, 2025.
During a press briefing at St. John’s College, Jos, Evangelist Joshua Mape, Secretary of the Central Planning Committee, presented the event’s details on behalf of the organising team. The crusade will run daily from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., with free admission for all attendees.
Organisers say the Jos Jesus Crusade is a divine mandate aimed at winning souls, strengthening unity among churches, and delivering transformational spiritual impact to the city. Churches from a wide range of denominations across Plateau State are collaborating to host the event, which is expected to draw thousands of worshippers.
The five‑day programme will feature a powerful lineup of anointed ministers, including popular gospel singer Mallam Razphil, with additional artists to be announced. Each night will include vibrant praise, deep worship, and opportunities for personal encounters with God.
The crusade will be led by Evangelist Daniel Du Toit, founder of Take The Nations, a ministry headquartered in South Africa and the United States. A protégé of the late Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, Du Toit has ministered in more than 27 countries, with a strong emphasis on evangelism, healing, and spiritual transformation. After five years of praying for Nigeria, he held his first Nigerian crusade in Offa, Kwara State, in 2024, followed by major events in Ede and Ile‑Ife in 2025, and a northern outreach in Kaduna earlier this year.
Organisers anticipate that the same “move of God” witnessed in previous cities—marked by testimonies of healings, miracles, and salvations—will be experienced in Jos. Past TTN crusades worldwide have recorded blind eyes opened, the lame walking, the dead raised, and creative miracles such as a child receiving new teeth.
In the weeks leading up to the crusade, the organising committee has scheduled a series of build‑up events, including:
– Women’s Conference – December 13
– Ministers’ Conference – December 18‑20
– Daily publicity rallies across Jos
– Two major Jesus Marches – December 10 and December 17
These activities aim to prepare the spiritual atmosphere and mobilise Christians from diverse backgrounds.
Representing CAN Chairman Rev. Dr. Dunka Gomwalk, CAN Plateau State Secretary Pastor Julius Arabo urged Christians across the state to participate actively, describing the crusade as an opportunity for a unified move of God in Plateau. The invitation extends to all residents of Plateau State and beyond, encouraging attendees to come with faith and expectation.
