The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Bernard Doro, has called on residents of Plateau to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027. Doro made the call during an expanded stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the northern senatorial zone of Plateau, held in Jos.

Doro emphasized the importance of unity among APC members, stating that only a united front would enable the party to triumph in 2027. He welcomed new members who have joined the party, assuring them of a level playing field.

The minister recalled a similar meeting held in December 2025, where it was agreed to meet regularly to interact and review the political situation within the zone. He stressed that unity is key to achieving the party’s goal.Img 20260125 wa0075

“We must unite to achieve our goal, and this goal is to re-elect Tinubu again in 2027,” Doro said. “Let us march and make sure that 2027 is a resounding success.”

Doro promised to support the party at the zonal and state levels, stating that the progress of the APC is synonymous with the growth of Nigeria. He urged stakeholders to encourage residents to take advantage of the ongoing APC electronic registration exercise to obtain their membership cards.

The minister also advised stakeholders to mobilize party members to attend the grand reception for Governor Caleb Mutfwang into the APC on Tuesday, January 27.

Doro’s call for unity comes as the APC seeks to consolidate its position in Plateau State. The party has been experiencing internal conflicts, and Doro’s intervention is seen as a bid to heal the rift.

The success of the APC in 2027 will depend on the party’s ability to present a united front, and Doro’s message is expected to galvanize support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.

By working together, the APC can achieve its goal of re-electing President Tinubu in 2027, and Doro’s leadership is expected to play a key role in this effort.Img 20260125 wa0078
