The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has announced the posting of Controller of Corrections (CC) Nimram James Fadul as the new Plateau State Controller.
The deployment is part of the Service’s ongoing strategic administrative postings aimed at strengthening institutional leadership and consolidating correctional reforms across Commands nationwide.
Controller Fadul takes over the leadership of the Plateau State Command following the retirement of Controller of Corrections EM Kagah, who bowed out of active service after thirty-five (35) years of meritorious service to the nation.
Upon assumption of duty, the new Controller of Corrections reaffirmed his commitment to professionalism, discipline, accountability, and effective collaboration with critical stakeholders, including the judiciary, security agencies, traditional institutions, faith-based organisations, and civil society groups, in furtherance of the reform agenda of the Controller-General of Corrections, Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, MFR, mni.
CC Fadul hails from Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State. He enlisted into the Service on 31 December 1991 as an Inspector of Prisons (IP) and holds a Master of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Jos. Prior to his posting, he served as Controller (Operations) at the Nigerian Correctional Service National Headquarters, Abuja.
A seasoned officer with extensive experience in administration, operations, and management, Controller Fadul brings a wealth of professional expertise to his new assignment. His personal interests include basketball, table tennis, and reading.
