Dr. Echuseh Audu, Executive Secretary of the Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), has been making waves in the field of emergency management with her tireless efforts to support communities affected by natural disasters.

In August 2025, SEMA evacuated residents from 7 flood-affected communities in Lau Local Government Area to safer grounds and provided essential relief materials. The agency has also established temporary camps to provide shelter and safety for displaced persons.
Dr. Audu’s commitment to public welfare and effective disaster mitigation has been praised by Governor Agbu Kefas, who has recognized her dedication to supporting communities affected by natural disasters.
