The City Boy Movement, Plateau State, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, inaugurated campus coordinators across all tertiary institutions in the state at Shartell Hotel Conference Hall, Jos, as part of its mobilization drive to deliver 1 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

The inauguration was presided over by the Director General of the City Boy Movement, Plateau State, Mr. David Daser, who is also President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute.“Students Are The Direct Beneficiaries”Speaking during the event, Mr. Daser said the gathering was to align the movement’s structure across campuses and activate students as mobilizers for the President.“Today’s inauguration is just an avenue for us to meet with all our structure across all the campuses. The student coordinator has done a remarkable job bringing these comrades together with the same objective of producing 1 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in 2027,” he said.He cited the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as a key intervention that has reduced student dropouts and kept students in school. “No single strike since Mr. President came. Go to school, spend 4 years and out. What more can be better than this?” he asked.Mr. Daser expressed confidence that Tinubu will win Plateau State in 2027, attributing it to federal projects such as the Akwanga-Gombe Road and Sharam-Lamba Road, federal appointments including the APC National Chairman from Plateau, and the defection of the sitting governor to APC. He also said the “Muslim-Muslim ticket propaganda” used in 2023 _“can no longer deceive our people because they are seeing results.”He announced that the movement will launch “Operation Solid Rock” on September 24 at Crispan, Jos — described as _“one of the biggest mobilizations in the history of Plateau politics.” According to him, the movement already has over 32,000 members across polling units, wards and LGAs, with 6 persons in each unit.
“By the grace of God, the student community will do its best to mobilize 1 million votes, if possible more, for His Excellency President Bola Tinubu,” Comrade Nanzin said, citing NELFUND and other student welfare interventions.

Comrade Younglan Talyoung, SUG President, University of Jos, promised a massive campaign for the President, noting Mr. Daser’s mentorship and vision for youths.

Comrade Lohkur Lohjul Vongdip, SUG President, Federal University of Education, Pankshin, said students have benefited and will “take the good news and work around with the students” to support Tinubu’s re-election.

Comrade Bullah Nzaman Luka, NANS JCC Chairman, Plateau State, applauded the DG for coordinating various groups and promised mobilization beyond campuses. “As a student unionist, we will deliver over 1 million votes because Mr. President has finished campaign in Jos through appointments, projects and interventions,” he said.
The inauguration had in attendance SUG Presidents, student leaders and other stakeholders across Plateau State.
