Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Caleb Mutfwang on his resounding emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial Candidate for the forthcoming general elections.
In a statement, the Speaker described Governor Mutfwang’s victory in the party primary as well deserved and a clear reflection of the confidence, trust, and goodwill the people of Plateau State have continued to repose in his leadership.
“The outcome of the APC primary election is a resounding endorsement of Governor Mutfwang’s commitment to service, his people-centered policies, and his unwavering dedication to the peace, progress, and development of Plateau State,” the Speaker stated
“It also demonstrates the growing unity, strength, and popularity of our great party across the length and breadth of the state.”
Rt. Hon. Gapyil noted that the overwhelming support received by the governor during the primary election is a testament to the tangible impact of his administration in key areas such as good governance, security and peace building, infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment, and inclusive leadership that carries all segments of society along.
“The people of Plateau have seen purposeful leadership in action. They have seen a governor who listens, who acts, and who delivers. This victory at the primary is therefore not surprising, it is the natural result of hard work, humility, and a genuine love for the state,” he added.
The Speaker expressed full confidence that, under Governor Mutfwang’s stewardship, the APC will not only win convincingly in the forthcoming general elections but will also continue to provide the visionary leadership required to transform Plateau State into a model of peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.
In light of this, Rt. Hon. Daniel called on all APC members, stakeholders, and supporters across the 17 Local Government Areas to remain united, eschew division, and work collectively and tirelessly for the success of the party.
“Our strength lies in our unity. Victory can only be sustained and built upon through love, teamwork, and a shared commitment to the ideals of the APC and the progress of Plateau State. I urge all party faithful to close ranks and mobilize at the grassroots for a resounding victory at the polls,” the Speaker urged.
Rt. Daniel further prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, good health, and divine guidance upon Governor Mutfwang as he prepares for the task ahead.
“May the Almighty God grant our governor the grace to lead with courage and compassion, and may Plateau State continue to experience peace and prosperity under his administration,” he prayed.
