The Executive Chairman of Bokkos Local Government Council, Hon. Amalau Samuel Amalau, on Friday, 19th June 2026, paid a condolence visit to the Bwai’s family at Mushu in Tangur Ward following the demise of Late Baba Haruna Bwai, an uncle to the Supervisory Councilor for Social Services, Hon. Mallo Bwai, in order to stand with the bereaved family during their moment of grief and mourning.
Hon. Amalau was ably represented by the Leader of the 8th Assembly of the Bokkos Legislative Arm and Councilor representing Mbar/Mangar Ward, Hon. Macham Stephen Kibangs, who led a high-powered delegation to the bereaved family.
While conveying the Chairman’s condolences, Hon. Kibangs empathized with the family over the painful and irreplaceable loss, noting that the passing of a loved one leaves a void that can only be filled by God’s comfort and grace. He encouraged the family to remain united and steadfast in faith as they navigate this difficult period.
Furthermore, the Executive Chairman via Hon. Kibangs, reminded the family that although death is an inevitable reality of life, believers are encouraged to find hope and strength in God’s promises as emphasize in Psalms 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Hon. Amalau assured the family that God remains their refuge and source of consolation in times of sorrow and prayed that the Almighty God would grant them peace, courage, and the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Members of the delegation included the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Luka Yavuruk; the Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Gamat Thomas Ndared; Councilors representing Tangur, Kwatas, and Mangor Wards; as well as other key dignitaries. Their presence underscored the solidarity of the Bokkos Local Government Council with the Bwai family and the entire Mushu community.
The delegation drew encouragement from John 14:27, where Jesus Christ declared, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you,” expressing confidence that God’s peace would sustain the family through their period of mourning.
On behalf of his family, Bokkos Local Government Council, and the people of Bokkos LGA, Hon. Amalau Samuel Amalau prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of Late Baba Haruna Bwai and extended his deepest heartfelt condolences to Hon. Mallo Bwai, the entire Bwai family, and the people of Mushu. He urged the bereaved family to cherish the enduring legacy and good memories left behind by the departed.
