Senator Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang, representing Plateau North Senatorial District, has distributed grains and other foodstuffs to his constituents across six local government areas as part of his 2025 constituency project. The initiative aims to alleviate hardship and is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renew Hope” agenda, focusing on national food security ¹.
In an interview, Senator Dachungyang explained that the distribution, done on December 25, 2025, includes 6,250 bags of 10kg rice, 750 bags of 20kg rice, 300 bags of 50kg rice, and 300 cartons of vegetable oil. He emphasized that this gesture is part of his mandate to support his constituents, especially during the festive season.
According to senator Pam the distribution, is in conjunction with the Federal College of Horticulture and Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Food Security. The grains were distributed across the six local government areas of Plateau North, including Barkin-Ladi, Bassa, Jos East, Jos North, Jos South, and Riyom
He said this initiative aims to alleviate hardship and is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renew Hope” agenda, focusing on national food security. Senator Dachungyang has been actively working on empowerment programs, including distributing fertilizers, cash grants, and tricycles to constituents.

When asked about his political stance, Senator Dachungyang stated that people want to go where they feel they have good representation, citing the challenges faced by the PDP, he said his party the ADP has know problem so he remains in his party and he also called on those defecting to come and join his party.
Engineer Emmanuel Gomam, representing the contractor, has confirmed receipt of food items for distribution to constituents in Plateau North. The items include 6,250 bags of 10kg rice, 750 bags of 20kg rice, 300 bags of 50kg rice, and 300 cartons of pure suya oil vegetable, equivalent to approximately 125 pieces.
Constituents appreciated Senator Dachungyang’s timely gesture, especially during the festive season, and thanked President Tinubu for his national food security initiative.
