A Senior Special Assistant (SSA)to the Governor on Road Safety Matters, Hon.Suberu Yusuf John PhD, has commended the Leadership if All Progressives Congress (APC) for successfully Screening aspirants for the House of Assembly seats in Kogi.
Yusuf, who served as a distinguished member of the screening committee for the Kogi State House of Assembly aspirants at the All Progressives Congress(APC) State Secretariat in Lokoja, made the remarks at the end of the Screening exercise on Saturday.
He said that it was the exemplary leadership style of Gov. Ahmed Ododo and the APC leadership that helped his sub-committee to have a hutch free screening exercise of the aspirants vying for H/Assembly seats.
The SSA conveyed deep appreciation to His Excellency, Ahmed Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi, for providing him with the opportunity to serve and contribute meaningfully to what he described as a historic and transformative administration
The governor’s aide also expressed profound gratitude to the state chairman of the APC, Engr. Aliyu Momoh-Ezzu, for finding him worthy of the important assignment.
He added, “May God grant our chairman greater wisdom, success, and impactful leadership qualities to steer the APC to victory in Kogi.”
Yusuf also extended heartfelt appreciation to the Auditor-General for Local Government, Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege, fondly known as “Fancy,” for his mentorship and guiding force.
According to him, his support and counsel have remained invaluable to him over time.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to continue supporting the Governor’s vision and contributing positively to the growth and progress of the state.
Nevertheless, Yusuf, who served as Secretary of his subcommittee, demonstrated exceptional diligence and professionalism throughout the screening exercise.
Beyond carefully reviewing the credentials and relevant documents of the aspirants, Yusuf engaged them in thoughtful and insightful interactions, seeking to understand their vision, commitment, and plans for the development and welfare of their respective constituencies if entrusted with the mandate of the people.
